Modernism between past and future

The monograph focuses on the anthropological dimension of the English modernist novel. The conceptual version of literary modernism in terms of its formation in the broad context of the Modern era and the implementation of aesthetic resources in the XX century is presented. The methodological potential of the interdisciplinary synergetic research program and literary anthropology has been applied in order to analyze the problems of human corporeality and identity.
 In the context of civilizational processes of the beginning of the XX century the interrelation of art practices of modernism and development of technologies is considered, intermediate strategies of the English modernist novel are demonstrated.
