Ukrainian associative dictionary, vol. 4

Volumes III and IV of the Ukrainian Associative Dictionary present the results of a psycholinguistic experiment with native speakers of the Ukrainian language.
This Dictionary is a continuation of the "Ukrainian Associative Dictionary" (in 2 volumes, 2007, 2008).
The Dictionary provides responses to 1 494 stimuli that were selected from among the most frequent responses of the previous edition, which makes it possible to expand the study of the mental lexicon of speakers. The reactions of female and male respondents in the Dictionary are presented separately, which makes it possible to use it for gender studies. Comprehensively considered, the materials of the Dictionary help to reveal the culturally specific features of the conceptual picture of the world embodied in the Ukrainian language.
For linguists and teachers of the Ukrainian language, in particular those who teach it as a foreign language, translators, psychologists, sociologists, ethnologists, as well as students and postgraduates of all the mentioned specialties.
